Robert Goebel serves as President & CEO of Greenbax Marketplace and Chief Revenue Officer for Alero Financial, where he leads strategic growth, revenue development, and  business expansion across both organizations. In his dual role,  Robert is responsible for driving enterprise-wide growth initiatives,  strengthening strategic partnerships, and advancing innovative  financial solutions that serve consumers, businesses, and highly  regulated industries. Greenbax Marketplace, owned by Alero  Financial, provides technology-enabled financial services and  payment solutions designed to meet the unique needs of complex  and emerging markets. 

With more than two decades of executive leadership in the  financial services and credit union industry, Robert has built a  reputation for accelerating growth, developing high-performing  teams, and delivering results through strategic lending, revenue  generation, and operational excellence. As part of Alero Financial’s  executive leadership team, he also oversees the lending strategy  for North Bay Credit Union, helping expand the organization’s  commercial and consumer lending programs. Prior to joining  Alero Financial, he held senior executive lending positions with  CoastHills Federal Credit Union, Publix Employees Federal Credit  Union, and America’s Credit Union, leading significant growth  initiatives across multiple markets. 

Throughout his career, Robert has successfully led organizations  through periods of transformation by combining sound financial  leadership with a strong focus on innovation, member experience,  and regulatory excellence. His expertise spans commercial lending,  strategic planning, revenue optimization, fintech partnerships,  Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and executive leadership. 

Robert attended the University of Miami and is passionate  about leveraging emerging banking technologies to create  better financial experiences for members and businesses alike.  He believes innovation should make banking more accessible,  efficient, and secure, while helping financial institutions meet  the evolving needs of the communities they serve.
