Jennifer Makris, MBA, widely known as the Cannabis Cash Queen, is a trusted advisor and industry leader with more than 20 years of experience in sales, logistics, and secure cash management. She specializes in helping cannabis businesses navigate the financial and operational challenges of highly regulated, cash-intensive environments through practical strategies for cash management, payments, banking, and compliance.

She advises startups and multi-state operators on building scalable financial operations that support growth while aligning with regulatory expectations. Known for her collaborative approach and deep industry relationships, she connects operators, financial institutions, and service providers to develop solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and expand access to financial services.

Jennifer is the founder of Cannabis Cash Consultants and serves as a Strategic Advisor for Verdant Strategies. She is the current President of the Cannabis Law, Accounting, and Business Association (CLAB), and Florida Regional Leader for The Cannabis Chamber of Commerce.  She also works closely with advocacy organizations advancing responsible cannabis policy.  

Through her work, she continues to help bridge the gap between cannabis operators, financial institutions, and service providers in supporting the next phase of the cannabis industry’s evolution.
