Jame Sloan is the Executive Director and co-lead of MainStreet’s Bank Innovation Lab, the Bank’s incubator for new initiatives. Jame is a leading expert in risk and compliance frameworks and new product implementation for banks and fintechs. She brings deep experience as a federal regulator, business executive, consultant, and risk leader. Drawing on this expertise, she guides the Bank in exploring and developing innovative products and services that meet changing customer needs within a rigorous risk and compliance framework. 

Jame serves on the board of Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., the only federally chartered crypto bank. She is an advisory board member for Archer Career, an EdTech startup offering a career readiness platform for high school to graduate school students and advisor to Cenerus Group, a turnaround, restructuring, and risk management consulting services firm. Jame is a board member for the OCC Alumni Association, an alumni-managed organization that promotes staying connected and building relationships and inspiring curiosity about the industry served, and founder of METTLEJEM LLC, offering multifaceted risk advisory services.

Jame was the CRO for BrightFi, a digital banking platform, where she established the risk framework and reporting, drove third party risk management and executed a new product approach for BaaS partner review. Previously as a leader in Promontory Financial Group’s risk practice, Jame advised financial institutions, digital assets businesses, and regulators on risk and compliance matters including problem and crisis resolution, governance, and new regulation implementation. As a commissioned national bank examiner, Jame held key roles in bank supervision and policy. Jame earned her MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business and her B.S. in finance from Northern Illinois University.
